About Us

Om Sri Chowdeshwari Matha Temple Trust (OSCMTT) is a non-profit organization formed to meet the community's growing need for a religious, spiritual and cultural center in Hyderabad, Telangana, INDIA. Om Sri Chowdeshwari Matha Temple is located in City of Hyderabad, India. Om Sri Chowdeshwari Matha Temple is accessible from any part of India and abroad by Air, Rail and Road.

On behalf of the OSCM Board of Trustees, we appeal to you to come forward and join efforts to make this Temple and Cultural Center a reality. This is a joint endeavor toward the well-being of the entire community and your support is of paramount importance. OSCMTT is a registered under Register of Societies and 12AA of Income Tax Act, Government of India. The organization is managed by Board of Trustee and Executive Committee as per a robust Constitution and By-Laws duly approved by the General Body.

OSCMTT currently conducts religious ceremonies on all major religious festivals like Diwali, Durga Puja, Narasimha Jayanthi, Krishna Janmashtami, Ganapati Mahotsav, Maha Shivaratri, Ram Navami and other Hindu festivals. It also organise individually sponsored events like Durga Jaagran, Ramayan Paath, and Shri Satyanarayan Pooja etc.

Committees

To manage the different projects and execute the various activities of OSCMTT, there are many internal departments that are chaired by prominent members of the community. Each department is set up as a separate committee with its own team.

Executive Committee

Composed of appointed members, Takes care of administrative functions and day-to-day operations of the Temple.

Construction Planning Committee

Composed of committee members with engineering backgrounds and other backgrounds who can work with the architects and construction manager to ensure that a temple and temple complex are constructed which will meet the needs of community members.

Religious Activities Committee

Composed of community members with special interest and/or expertise in Hindu religious traditions, including pujas and festival celebrations. The committee will plan, organize and conduct religious functions as approved by the Board of Trustees.

Communications Committee

Composed of community members with special interest and/or expertise in this field. The members will maintain and update the temple’s website and use its capabilities to maintain membership and organizational databases and send out electronic communications. Members will serve in an advisory capacity to others involved in the temple’s business processes.

Fundraising Committee

Composed of the OSCMTT Trustees and other members. Has overall responsibility for fundraising for construction and maintenance of the temple and for special projects.
